EuroAlarm in Prague was originally established as the assistance department of the Czech travel insurance leader Evropska Cestovni Pojiڝovna www.evropska.cz. Evropska, as a member of Munich Re Group, was the first travel insurer on the Czech market who introduced a native-speaking 24 hour assistance service to its customers worldwide.

In 1996, the first Prague team of assistance co-ordinators was formed and in 2002 this set-up was transformed into an independent assistance company, EuroAlarm Assistance Prague Ltd.

Today EuroAlarm Assistance Prague is servising Evropska Cestovni Pojistovna, as well as companies from the European Travel Insurance Group (ETI), which unites 18 travel insurance specialists based in Western and Central Europe. A significant volume is dedicated to important British, Polish, Baltic and Russian insurance and assistance companies.
